Epic Series Delves into the History of House Targaryen

Season 2 Synopsis and Premiere Date

With Matt Smith, Fabien Frankel, Rhys Ifans, and Steve Toussaint in lead roles, "House of the Dragon" is set 200 years before the events of "Game of Thrones." The epic series tells the story of the Targaryen dynasty as it approaches its cataclysmic end, with a slow and deliberate approach rather than a hasty gallop. The premiere date for Season 2 is yet to be announced, but it is expected to be available on HBO Max with a subscription.

Season 1 of the series ended with the coronation of King Aegon II and the death of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. Season 2 will delve deeper into the aftermath of these events and the escalating conflict between the two factions of House Targaryen.
